I build 70meter rope freefalls in Moab, Utah, as well as 70meter rope jumps off bridges.

Were are the second ends of your base or you jump into the canyon???

i am very impressed your english, i had a moderate brain injury from a paraglide crash last year and cannot learn new things very easily, thank you for replying.

we use tyrolean traverses across the canyons to attatch the ropes.
i will try to add more pictures.

in the US, almost all rope jump sites are illegal.

our government has made it very difficult to rope jump

There are VERY few of us rope jumpers.

I got on this forum because it is the first and only rope jumping forum i have seen in the 6 years i have been rope jumping.

We also have ... some problems with police and fire-brigades ... then we jump from the dam - we must learned the administrative law - but all ok, we had only the notification from police ... but there is no "rope jump sites are illegal" - where are a lot of teams throughout Russia (see the http://www.ropejumping.ru/teams.html on this site) and we JUMP ... Your jump is interesting for me because I'm going to the Crimea (rock climbing) and I think "How to jump from the rocks" ...

about team - I think you can write the post (or priv message) to the netwind - he is admin of this site and he can publish information about your team ... with your foto ... if he didn't reply for a long time post in this topic I send him e@mail ... we are going for the bridge jump at this saturday ... I send you some our fotos they not so good but I think that you know what is "to stand on the railing(?) before jump"

that would be great!

however, i do not think there are very many American rope jumpers at all, our very small rope jumping team is not wel liked by the rest of the rock climbing communnity.
